About Me

My Story

My name is Angela Weir (Angela Rene), and I’m a singer‑songwriter from Zachary, Louisiana. Music found me early—long before I understood what a calling was. At 11 years old, my oldest sister, my cousin, and I would sing together until our voices were tired and our hearts were full. Those moments planted something in me that never left, shaping the way I learned to express faith, emotion, and truth through sound.

My journey as an artist has never been a straight line—it’s been more like a melody that kept returning to me no matter where life pulled me. Music became the place where I could be honest, expressive, and unafraid. Every harmony I sang with my family, every church solo that pushed me out of my comfort zone, and every moment someone told me my voice moved them shaped the storyteller I’ve become. Instead of following a traditional path, I learned to trust the sound God placed in me and let it guide me through seasons of growth, healing, and rediscovery.

What sets me apart is the heart behind my voice—raw emotion, spiritual depth, and a commitment to creating music that truly means something. I’m not just singing; I’m sharing pieces of my journey in ways that help others feel seen and uplifted. That authenticity has led to some unforgettable moments: performing for audiences who connected deeply with my lyrics, collaborating with musicians who challenged me creatively, and recording original songs that reflect both my faith and my evolution as an artist. With new music, live shows, and creative partnerships on the horizon, I’m stepping boldly into a season of momentum and purpose, inviting listeners to join me on this journey of transformation.
